Bajaj Pulsar is the first motorcycle in India who come in direct competition with the Hero Honda CBZ. Then introduce the Bajaj Pulsar 150cc DTS-i with digital twin spark ignition and till today is one of the bikes Pulsar most sought after in the 150cc segment. This will be victorious over the other bikes, but let us justify the triumph.

How do I see?

The engineers at Bajaj aware of the fact that if there is no only the beauty and strength, will not be sold in the Indian market. Claimed to be designed and developed in Japan, this bike does not have a rotating head appeared. The most obvious feature of this bike is a tank. Large tank gives the bike feels great, and when the Pulsar was introduced, it was one of the largest tanks in India.

Headlamp design has been viewed differently by people. Some absolutely love it and some say it could be better designed. This lamp is equipped with lights of the city is also called the tell tale light which is adding value to its appearance. Bullets and Karizma bike is only with the lights of the city before the Pulsar was introduced.

Bicycle tail section … hmm, yes, I can say it is designed well, too. Here too there are differences of opinion. Razor sharp new taillights, whether or not is not looking good, definitely add to the uniqueness of Bajaj Pulsar.

How do I do?

Bajaj says “DTS-i provides high power without compromising on mileage” and. Life cycle upto this statement. Another advantage of the Digital Twin Spark ignition is the throttle response.Clearly, the throttle response is better than CBZ. That does not give a good adrenaline rush when you turn the throttle.

When I ride on this bike, what I feel is feeling insecure. Although the bikes are heavy for some reason I feel that the bike is not as safe as a Karizma. I can not technically explain why so, but thats what I feel. But the pickup is awesome. Karizma take the slow and steady pace and maintain stability at high speeds, but the Pulsar jumped from quite fast but can not be as good as Karizma when at speeds of 80 km / hr.

Bajaj Pulsar has generously providing the disc with a good break, but the brakes are too sensitive to be applied with caution. I have heard many people apply the front disc too quickly and because of the weight distribution that kind of bicycle, motorcycle topples over.

This suggests that the Bajaj Pulsar 150cc give mileage around 55-60 kmpl. But it’s very dependent on the quality of the user riding, service quality and frequency of maintenance.

How prominent?

Bajaj Pulsar is a great buy some time ago, but now considering the competition there are better bikes around from Honda, TVS and Yamaha. People are tired of seeing too many of the Pulsar in the city. It is time for Bajaj also launched a new 150cc model for product lines.

This digital console appeal some time ago, but now many have introduced their bikes. If you are a fan of bikes Pulsar and has been admired for a long time, then go ahead and buy it.

New Model Change:

Carbureted: In an effort to provide a wonderful performance for the masses (by reducing the cost) is not obliged to keep things in mind, Bajaj has been omitted from the Fuel Injector Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi. Now the bike comes loaded with the largest Indian Ucal 32mm carburetor venturi 32 UCD system type throttle body replaces the Delphi-supplied fuel injection in 220 DTS-Fi Pulsar.
Power output: The output of the power the bike had been increased from 20 Ps (@ 8500 rpm) from the DTS-Fi to a whooping 21.04 PS at the same rpm figure, full of horsepower over the factory fuel injected 20 bhp in turn breaking the jinx we were stuck for quite some time. torque figures remain the same at 19.12 Nm, but the Pulsar carbureted do it in 7000 rpm is 500 RPM more than the fuel injected version. This also ensures the engine revvy nature with abundant torque available throughout the curve.
New Piston: Keeping the same dimensions of the cylinder at 67 * 62.4 mm, the piston now appear in a new screen printed Malycote graphite based material that helps reduce the friction between piston and cylinder walls and also improve the engine characteristics of anti-seizure.
Sports Oval Roof Combustion Chamber: bike also gets an oval-shaped roof combustion chamber which allows for maximum cargo density flame propagation path which ensures maximum combustion even with the air-fuel ratio leaner.
Water Cooler larger: Machinery and equipment such as air conditioning in the DTS-Fi, but must maintain the cold temperature is stable now get a bigger air-cooling on this bike with a 33 percent greater cooling which ensures that the bike runs cool even under high temperatures.
All New Ignition System: bicycle also includes all new ignition system with temperature sensors built into the engine cylinder head to assist the rider in a perfect way without loss of torque or a flat spot.
All New Auto Choke: With this version of Bajaj should ensure that users do not have a problem getting cold on a bike, now carbureted version. To overcome this problem might be, this bike comes loaded with auto-choke which allows the bike to start in the coldest environments with ease.
All New Clutch Assembly: The biggest problem with previous iterations of the Pulsar series is the lack of response and lack of coupling of the clutch feel under a little load. Looks like Bajaj has paid special attention to the front and the clutch all sports bikes supplied by the FCC fully enclosed Rico. The bike has a sleek and reported feeling much better than previous iterations that make a better bike to ride.
All New Gearbox Internal: Adding to the new clutch system, Bajaj has ensured that all known issues fixed. This gearbox, which is one of the biggest problems for Bajaj, has been overhauled with a few changes in major components. Pulsar slickest bike was reported till date.
All-Black Theme: Motorcycles have a theme in black with black alloys, engine, suspension and forks from the other iterations of the same stable and make the bike looks killer.
Soft Compound Tires: Motorcycle comes loaded with a gentle reminder R15 tubeless tire compounds that make the bike a dream to handle while in the corner and also make sure the bike is grown under extreme braking or rough. Tires still the same size front and rear 90/90 * 17 * 17 120/80 fatten which also helped to murder the entire look of the bike.
Designed new logo: a bike also gets prominent metallic logo Pulsar Pulsar 180 2009 reminded the new edition. This is also a clip-on handlebars revamped along with a redesigned console background.

Performance:

Here we talk about performance, the most talked about features of his bike. Bajaj bike called ‘The Fastest Indian’ features a bicycle and it makes us believe every bit of it. Zero to sixty dash went lower than 4 seconds! This is bigger than half a second faster than the brother of fuel injection. Zero to one hundred achieved at around 11.5 seconds and it was two seconds faster whooping to the DTS-Fi. Add to the true top speed bicycle was reported close to 140 km / h by reading the Speedo exceeding 145kmph. Now fast by any standard and anger in India standards.

Bike period upto its claim to be the fastest motorcycle in the country and with a large margin, R15-laden technology including brilliant! Roll on the times reported for the DTSi is a boy slower than DTS-Fi, thanks to the emphasis on the latter are lower and mid-range torque, but flip the throttle and here you go ride a bike of India’s fastest current production in the country on the DTSi. With several prominent hot like this, not much is expected from the mileage figures of this bike, but wait … …! There are more than what seems obvious. Expect the bike to restore something in the range of handsome mileage 35-40 kmpl in the way of real and conditons of this in any way are great characters. The roar of engines has also been made gruntier and record their own starter also has sweet notes muscular to begin with.

Along with all of the above list bikes get all the goodies like typical pulsars Exhaustec, beautiful power and torque at all RPM, cheap parts, projector lamp, maintenance-free battery 9Ah 12W, dual horns, Wolf semi-eyed front fairing, Nitrox shock absorbers back to do their job with near perfection.

With this bike, Bajaj has again produced a winner, more so by keeping the bike in direct competition to the new-born Apache RTR 180, Yamaha YZF R15, the Yamaha FZ series, Hero Honda Karizma. To be sure, all the bikes mentioned will face the heat with an aggressive launch of this bike. This bike is set sure to change the fate of Bajaj. Great move Bajaj! Let’s see how the bike on the market rates. If you see the players shouted at an affordable price, than no bike on the market that can match the practicality and “Value for Money-ness” of this bike. Go get this bike and burn the road!

Tubeless tires offer superior stability are safer than conventional tires, adding fuel tube to the economy. Better road grip and stability guaranteed by the very wide rear tires.
